Back on the Atlantic coast. The place where I found this large seahorse after a storm while visiting my family here many years ago. I always head out to beach comb especially after a storm. Even in the dark! Finding such a large seahorse in the sand with a headlamp was like finding a needle in a haystack. The mold was made after this find. Cast in sterling silver and set with a red coral branch and blue moonstone drop cabochon representing the water. This necklace was one part of the nature elements collection that awarded me a recognition to the Kunst Akademie in Munich. I am happy that a friend, a lovely young mother was gifted this necklace by her parents for her graduation many years ago. Interested in more? Anima Blu

‚Anima Blu’, or Blue Soul, was a collaboration performance in the spacious Reithalle in Munich between the stylist, Elena Berton, the photography artist, Marco, the choreographer Rafaele Giovanola, and myself. The performance ‚happening’ evolved from Marco’s photo collection, ‚Anima Blu’ depicting the soul as the color blue. We expressed this idea three dimensionally through simple wooden objects of construction and blue paint. Using dancers from the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich moving intertwined with models the performance presented the fashion from Elena’s collection and my jewelry creations from ‚One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure’.
